Wilson Legal Group P.C. is a multidisciplinary litigation and business law firm in Dallas. They are seeking a driven Associate Attorney with 2–4 years of civil litigation experience to join their team and manage various legal responsibilities including drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and actively managing cases.

Law Practice

Responsibilities

Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs; prepare proposed orders and findings
Report to clients clearly, promptly, and professionally
Manage written discovery and depositions; coordinate with clients to gather responsive documents and information
Conduct legal research across our practice areas (commercial disputes, IP/trademark, family law, probate, and regulatory as needed)
Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, site inspections, and, when applicable, trials
Actively manage cases from investigation through resolution, including strategy, calendars, and deadlines
Collaborate with partners and team members while handling appropriate matters independently

Qualification

Civil litigation experienceTexas Bar licenseLegal researchWriting skillsOral advocacyProfessionalismOrganizational skills

Required

2–4 years of civil litigation experience
Admitted and in good standing with the Texas Bar
Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills
strong oral advocacy
Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines
Professionalism with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
Civil litigation: 2 years (Required)
Texas Bar license (Required)

Preferred

civil litigation experience (commercial, IP, family, or probate preferred)
federal court admission a plus
