Responsibilities
Use molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell biology techniques to study protein localization, dynamics, and function
Learn innovative microscopy methods to analyze cell dynamics in fly or mouse embryos using confocal microscopy and time-lapse imaging
Assist with the design and engineering of fly or mouse lines using CRISPR/Cas9 methods
Assist with the maintenance of collections of fly or mouse lines
Collaborate with senior scientists, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students in an intellectually stimulating and interactive environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in biology, biochemistry, physics, chemistry, engineering, or a related field
Self-motivated, interactive, and meticulous approach to tasks and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, documentation, and communication skills
Enthusiasm for learning new approaches and a passion for teaching and helping others
A minimum of one year of undergraduate research experience is required
