Responsibilities
Running a Small Business unit for People, Quality, Velocity, and Cost
Monitors and improves shop floor safety, aggressively eliminates unsafe processes
Assures fixtures, tooling and processes are followed to meet production schedules
Determines priorities and sequences jobs
Schedules and prioritizes constrained resources, and adjusts staffing to meet flow and customer requirements
Determines and executes disciplinary action when appropriate
Procures and distributes production material to meet schedules
Ensures preventive maintenance is performed according to schedule
Implements, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, Internal Certification and others
Evaluates, assess, identifies and leads the deployment of workforce training
Qualification
Required

Production Training: Knowledge of approaches, tools and techniques for delivering formal and informal training on the safe and efficient operation of production machinery; ability to conduct effective formal and situation-specific training
Process Improvement: Understanding and insight into evaluating current product quality and production methods and ability to maintains focus on the continuous improvement of processes, products and services
Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way
Talent Management: Knowledge of human resources and talent management processes; ability to lead, motivate, evaluate, and reward employees at the workplace
Preferred
Strong Background in leadership and team building and execution in a welding environment
Ability to work with a diverse group of employees and customers and drive change management on the team
Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills
Experience collecting, presenting and making policy based on data collection
