Senior Project Management Specialist - Starliner Commercial Crew

Responsibilities

Lead development of all phases of project development across cross-organization units and product teams with Boeing Values and Program Management Best Practices
Develop and implement project level planning and content summaries for management review
Provide oversight of technical approaches, products and processes, as well as solutions to project related problems as they arise
Provide lessons learned and historical reports for projects upon completion for future projects
Provide mentorship for project planning, implementation, and metrics for a maturing project team
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with project stakeholders, peers, and partners
Coordinate and provide project level metrics

Required

Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, or STEM field w/ 10+ years' experience or equivalent
7+ years of experience leading multi-functional teams and/or projects
5+ years of experience leading complex systems new product development or production
3+ years of experience performing Earned Value Management
This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a 'U.S. Person' as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. 'U.S. Person' includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Preferred

Understanding of Starliner program
Experience with uncrewed/autonomous systems
Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
Experience with Model Based Engineering and Engineering Lifecycles
Exceptional interpersonal skill and self-sufficient ability to lead teams, including coaching and mentoring
Demonstrated ability act strategically and tactically to support successful project completion
Strong written and oral communication skills
