3+ years expAermotive is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior-level bookkeeper to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
Manage the complete accounting process from start to finish
Process accounts payable (AP) invoices accurately and efficiently
Review, verify, and audit accounting records and transactions for accuracy, timeliness, and proper documentation
Assist the CFO/Controller and General Manager in developing annual financial projections and forecasts
Prepare reports detailing key metrics such as cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, profit and loss, and other critical business operations data
Generate and send invoices to customers for services or goods provided
Perform general ledger adjustments and account reconciliations to complete month-end closing activities
Compile and upload monthly financial data for review by the Controller and CFO
Manage, reconcile, and audit quarterly and annual payroll reports (e.g., 940, 941, RT-6)
Suggest improvements to accounting policies and systems
Ensure all accounting procedures align with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Prepare and provide documentation for external auditors
Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and non-compliance issues
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
At least 3-5 years of related experience
Proficiency in Quickbooks or similar accounting software is required
Preferred
AvSight software experience is preferred
Knowledge of Aviation/Aerospace industry is preferred
