Responsibilities

Design, plan, and execute 8-12 client events simultaneously

Develop detailed event strategies, including budgets, timelines, and resource allocation

Source, negotiate, and manage vendor relationships, ensuring top-tier service within budget constraints

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the planning process

Educate clients on industry best practices, trends, and strategic recommendations to ensure successful, innovative, and budget-friendly event execution

Go above and beyond to deliver exceptional customer experiences, driving client retention and referrals

Follow and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize event planning processes

Provide feedback to enhance tools, systems, and workflows, contributing to our mission of building a scalable and tech-enabled organization

Meet or exceed event booking and profit margin goals, including upselling additional services

Strategically manage client budgets to maximize event impact while driving decisions that support BoomPop’s net revenue objectives and preferred vendor utilization

Immerse your day-to-day planning operations in BoomPop’s product to help inform product development and improve the UX

Qualification

Required

5+ years of experience in end-to-end event management, including sourcing, vendor management, planning, coordination, execution, and budget management

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with vendors and venues

Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills

Excelling in project management skills and experience, prioritizing a high volume of tasks

Strong executive presence and ability to present information to a variety of senior leaders

Proven ability to be creative and innovative in planning in-person events

Willing and able to travel up to 10% of the year for onsite event execution, client meetings, and team collaboration
