Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, basic repairs, troubleshooting, inspections, calibration, modifications and upgrades on electrical and controls equipment including PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and motor control systems
Support the installation and setup of new control systems and automation equipment
Identify and resolve minor faults in control systems and recommend continuous improvements
Maintaining inventory of tools, parts, and supplies needed for control system maintenance
Follow all safety procedures and protocols when servicing control systems and electrical equipment
Any ad hoc requests

Qualification

PLC knowledgeHMI knowledgeMotor control systemsElectrical systems experienceReading electrical schematicsCommunication skillsTeamwork

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent
3+ years experience in electrical systems, controls and/or automation
Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and motor control systems
Able to accurately read, interpret, and work from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Occasionally lift/carry (10-50 lbs) and push/pull (50-300 lbs)
Occasional bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping
If requested, able to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces
Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions
Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English

Preferred

Associate's degree, Bachelors degree or relevant certifications in a technical field
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
