The role involves providing technical expertise, managing capital projects, and facilitating technology advancements to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Responsibilities

Support manufacturing to address technical and process related problems, including a root cause analysis

Participate as a liaison between plants and external support providers to identify and resolve equipment and process issues with sustainable long-term solutions

Plan, coordinate, and manage projects as assigned, ensuring they are executed to meet committed targets within budget

Facilitate technology advancements that include new product and process introduction and manufacturing improvements to reduce waste

Facilitate a culture of 'Lean Thinking' to include process standardization, setup reduction, and flow layout that results in lower operating cost

Provide process training and support as required

Required

4 Year Bachelor's degree, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

1-2 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience highly preferred

Must have excellent mechanical aptitude with a 'hands-on' approach to job responsibilities

Must be a self-starter with the ability to identify root causes and long-term solutions with limited supervision but have a willingness to seek out additional information as needed. Must be adaptable and able to work in a fluid environment

Project management experience in planning, coordinating, execution and follow-up is critical to position success
