Customer Success Specialist
Discovery Education UK is seeking a Customer Success Specialist to be the primary contact for school-level and small-district administrators. This role involves handling communications regarding pricing, sales policies, and account management while maintaining accurate records of customer interactions.

Responsibilities
Inbox & Phone Support: Respond promptly to administrator emails; make and receive calls to address questions, resolve issues, and guide next steps
Policy & Pricing Guidance: Explain standard pricing, sales policies, and options clearly and professionally
Account Management: Help administrators with access and usage, troubleshoot account issues, and ensure smooth onboarding
Recordkeeping: Log every interaction with complete, accurate details; maintain clean, up‑to‑date contact and account records in CRM and ticketing tools
Escalations & Collaboration: Triage complex or non‑standard requests, loop in the right teammates, and follow through to resolution
Growth Projects: Support targeted outreach to schools with strong usage, coordinate trials, and assist with membership conversion initiatives
Process Improvement: Surface insights from conversations, recommend improvements to workflows, and contribute to campaigns that better serve schools
Qualification
Required
Candidates must live in or be excited to work full-time in PST or MST time zones
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
Legal right to work in the United States
Excellent written and oral communication as well as strong interpersonal skills
Ability to ask the right questions that lead to insight about what school and small district administrators need
Ability to keep project work moving forward while making sure nothing falls between the cracks
Energetic and engaging personality, enjoys talking to customers
Comfortable talking on the phone, even when it involves discussing delicate or tricky situations
Ability to have tough conversations with frustrated individuals
Focused, detail-oriented, and enjoys learning about new sales processes, procedures, and campaigns
Ability to juggle multiple projects with ease
Positive, solution-oriented team player with the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Eager and willing to learn something new
