Responsibilities
Oversee and optimize all accounting operations across multiple properties and entities
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management
Ensure full compliance with affordable housing programs, tax credit regulations, and other relevant requirements
Lead, develop, and mentor an accounting team, fostering a collaborative culture
Partner with senior leadership to strengthen internal controls and standardize accounting processes post-integration
Drive system improvements and technology adoption across accounting operations
Hands-on involvement with general ledger, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end close
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
7+ years of progressive accounting experience in property management or real estate
Proven ability to manage accounting across multiple entities or a complex portfolio
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience guiding teams through change
Preferred
CPA preferred
