Business Development Representative
Planyear is an end-to-end workflow solution aimed at helping brokers and employers manage their benefits programs. They are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to generate qualified leads and manage the handoff to Sales, which is critical to the success of the sales organization and the company overall.

Responsibilities
Achieve or exceed your monthly quota by generating high quality sales meetings
Identify, research, reach out, and qualify leads to create qualified sales opportunities
Ensure that qualified leads show up to introductory calls
Reschedule introductory calls as needed
Research, follow up, nurture, and qualify inbound leads via phone, email, and LinkedIn
Qualification
Required
1+ years of documented success in lead generation
Exemplary written and oral communication skills with the ability to think on your feet and easily answer unexpected questions
Excellent interpersonal, planning, time management, and organizational skills
Quick and efficient at learning and/or using computers and software. Specific experience with Salesloft, Hubspot, and/or ZoomInfo is a plus
Demonstrated drive to succeed
Genuine curiosity and desire to learn
Preferred
Existing relationships with health insurance brokers and/or HR leaders
