Pre-Award Grant Specialist
The University of Kentucky is seeking a dedicated and skilled Pre-Award Grant Specialist to support the proposal, preparation, and submission of grants and contracts. This role enables groundbreaking research across the University and involves responsibilities such as budget preparation, facilitation of internal approvals, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
Support of sponsored project proposal development including budget preparation
Facilitation of internal approvals for proposal submissions
Contributing regular support through entry and analysis of data within various sponsor and university proposal-related systems
Remain current and knowledgeable on sponsored project policy and related university rules and regulations
Providing exceptional customer service through timely response and follow-up related to these duties
Qualification
Required
Master's degree and one (1) year of experience OR equivalent
High School diploma or GED and seven (7) years of experience
Associate's degree and five (5) years of experience
Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience
Doctorate degree and no experience
Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
