Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for new proposals and existing development programs
Create Program Summary Master Schedules and associated reports and metrics
Facilitate schedule and program support for various tasks from the initial phase to completion
Develop and author a plan that describes the project
Modify the contract Master Schedule in response to program challenges or changes in scope or tasks
Identify the need for program recovery plans and coordinate recovery and risk mitigation plans
Follow-up with issues not immediately resolved in a timely manner, ensuring stakeholders are aware of revised direction
Resolve schedule conflicts while ensuring adherence to established processes
Serve as a planning and scheduling trusted advisor for program managers and leadership
Proactively keep stakeholders well informed, listen carefully and incorporate feedback as appropriate, and clearly express ideas and concepts

Required

Experience in facilitating schedule and program support for various tasks from the initial phase to completion
Proven ability to be a major contributor in developing and authoring a plan that describes the project
Appropriate responsiveness to program challenges or changes in scope or tasks and modifying the contract Master Schedule accordingly
Experience in identifying the need for program recovery plans and coordinating and preparing recovery and risk mitigation plans
Experience in following-up with issues not immediately resolved in a timely manner, ensuring stakeholders are aware of revised direction
Sense of urgency, getting results in a fast-paced environment
Ability to effectively prioritize work to address competing or changing demands/resources
Resolve schedule conflicts while ensuring adherence to established processes
Solid written and oral communication skills with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences and purposes
Ability to proactively keep stakeholders well informed, listen carefully and incorporate feedback as appropriate
Ability to clearly express ideas and concepts
Ability and willingness to provide efficient, quality products and services to a broad mix of internal and external customers

Preferred

Experience in implementing efficiency improvements in processes/procedures
Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining the critical path and/or driving paths of a program in a networked schedule (IMS)
Excellent communication /interpersonal skills
Demonstrated planning and scheduling experience including Critical Path Methodology (CPM) / network scheduling experience
Knowledge of AMMM/C-130 Manufacturing/Fabrication, and Engineering processes
Ability to teach others, showing the impact/value of the group's products / services
LEAN or Six Sigma training or certification
Experience in problem resolution/recovery planning
Project or Program Management experience
Conflict resolution skills
Proposal development experience
Schedule Risk Assessment experience
Integrated Master Plan experience
Experience with Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) programs
Experience working with Lockheed Martin Suppliers and Supplier Schedules
