Controls Engineer I

Responsibilities
Translate requirements into a system architecture and detailed design
Design, integrate and install industrial automation and control systems including PLC controls, motor controls, and general machine controls
Validate designs through analysis and testing
Coordinate own design efforts to meet production schedules and provide project task estimates and updates to project team
Determine feasibility of modifying existing or designing new equipment considering costs, time limitations, and other technical and economic factors
Qualification
Required
BS in Electrical Engineering
0+ years' experience developing and maintaining control system designs
Obtain and maintain railroad safety training and credentials
Working knowledge of business software including MS Office suite
Lead design reviews consisting of multi-disciplined team members
Collaborate with others to clarify requirements and develop solutions
Preferred
0+ years' experience in industrial power systems and automation
0+ years' experience in engine, generator, electrical traction, hydrostatics & hydraulic controls
0+ years' experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation (RSLogix, RSView, Ethernet, ControlNEt, DeviceNet)
EIT
Knowledge in Autodesk and ERP software
