Responsibilities

Design, modify, and maintain PLC, HMI, Servo, and network systems for packaging equipment
Collaborate with Field Service Technicians to troubleshoot and configure Rockwell, ProFace, and Lenze systems remotely and on-site
Lead R&D projects: research new technologies, create schematics, develop ground-up programming, and oversee testing and installation
Provide exceptional customer support and detailed documentation for all work performed
Travel up to 30% (occasionally up to 50% during peak periods) to customer sites for installations and commissioning

Qualification

Rockwell PLCLenze systemsAutoCADC#NEC standardsProblem-solvingProject managementCommunication skills

Required

Strong experience with Rockwell PLC/VFD/Servo/PVP/HMI and Lenze systems
Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E standards; CSA/CE/UL508A experience is a bonus
OR Associate's degree + 10+ years of experience
Strong problem-solving, project management, and communication skills

Preferred

Familiarity with Siemens, Omron, B&R, Beckhoff is a plus
Proficiency in AutoCAD, structured text, C# and/or C++ preferred
BS in Electrical/Controls/Mechanical/Software Engineering (preferred) + 5 years of relevant experience
Additional certifications or graduate degree is a plus
