Start in 2026 SummerConifer Health Solutions is seeking a Data Engineer Intern for the summer of 2026 to support their Data & Analytics team. This role involves building data pipelines, automating processes, and enhancing data systems to improve healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities
Building required data pipelines for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources following established ingestion patterns and utilizing frameworks on Google Cloud Platform
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery
Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources
Assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
Create data tools for analytics and data scientist team members that assist them in building and optimizing our product into an innovative industry leader
Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems
Qualification
Required
May 2027 graduates pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Info Systems or equivalent experience with a passion for data
Proficient with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python)
Proficient with relational databases and SQL
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely
Independence and passion for innovation and learning new technologies
Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills
Interest in learning about healthcare information technology
Preferred
Familiarity and experience with big data technologies (e.g.: Hive, Spark, Presto) preferred
