Responsibilities

Own the full B2B sales cycle from outreach to signed engagement
Build pipeline through networking, referrals, and strategic outreach
Develop compelling proposals and expand within existing accounts
Serve as primary CFO advisor and relationship owner
Lead strategic financial discussions and board prep
Identify opportunities for deeper engagement and service expansion
Build and lead U.S. and international engagement teams
Delegate FP&A, accounting, and controller work effectively
Ensure quality, timeliness, and continuous improvement
Own portfolio financial performance and profitability
Optimize margins, utilization, and resource allocation
Leverage PIE and Propeller’s data platform for differentiated insight
Document workflows and contribute to institutional knowledge

Required

CPA and/or MBA preferred
12+ years in finance/accounting, including 5+ years in CFO or senior leadership roles
Proven B2B business development track record
Multi-client or consulting background strongly preferred
Experience serving B2B companies with $5M–$100M+ in revenue
Experience building and leading high-performing teams
DTC / E-commerce (CAC, LTV, channel economics, fulfillment, Shopify/Amazon)
CPG (trade spend, inventory, COGS, promotions, retail margins)
Omnichannel / Brand (DTC vs. wholesale mix, inventory turns, margin management)
Relationship-driven and systems-oriented
Entrepreneurial and comfortable with ambiguity
Technically curious, including AI-enabled tools
