Responsibilities
Troubleshoot PLCs, drives, networks, HMIs, servos, software, and other control system components
Design and program new and existing electrical/control systems
Read, create, and maintain AutoCAD drawings and project documentation
Build control panels in compliance with NEC, UL508A, SCCR, and Functional Safety standards
Perform startup and commissioning at customer sites
Provide on-site and remote customer technical support
Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks in assigned projects
Collaborate with internal teams and customers to deliver effective solutions
Manage multiple tasks and projects while meeting schedules and deadlines
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience as a PLC Controls Engineer or Technician
Strong proficiency with Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI programming
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Experience reading and creating AutoCAD electrical drawings
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to climb ladders and stand for extended periods as required
Preferred
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
Experience with other PLC platforms (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Modicon, etc.)
Motion control experience
Electrical construction background
Strong computer and industrial networking skills
