Responsibilities

Supports the development and facilitation of new and existing hospital affiliations within the statewide network including: assisting with communication between statewide entities and the system; planning and organizing system meetings; partnering with system leaders and network entities to deliver value added system enterprise services that meet the needs of statewide affiliates; facilitating the execution of agreements between UNC Health, affiliated entities, and other internal and external partners; project management leadership of mergers, acquisitions, and other affiliations activities and related due diligence; leading strategic evaluations of market trends in key regions, advising regionalization initiatives; leading operational and analytical projects to support operations and inform executive decision-making at UNC Health statewide entities; and representing UNC Health to the public, other providers of care, and policy makers one-on-one and at local, regional, and statewide meetings

Required

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline
Five years of experience of relevant experience including, but not limited to, management of an operational unit, business analysis, or financial analysis
Hybrid work environment with travel across the health system and partner sites as needed
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and financial modeling abilities
High-level of proficiency with MS Office suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Excellent relationship-building, written and oral communication, and facilitation skills
Demonstrated ability to lead without direct authority, influence diverse stakeholders, and drive work forward amid ambiguity
Proven ability to manage complex projects and work effectively across large, matrixed organizations
High level of professionalism, discretion, and executive presence

Preferred

Experience working at a health services delivery organization or in a consulting role to health services delivery organizations is strongly preferred
