Senior LevelUnited Wholesale Mortgage is seeking an experienced and dynamic Team Lead for Information Security (Administration). In this role, you will lead a team responsible for the administration of information security systems and protocols, ensuring the highest level of protection for the organization's data and IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of security professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
Oversee the administration and maintenance of security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), anti-virus software, and other security appliances
Implement strategies and frameworks that align with the organization’s security objectives, ensuring effective identification of potential threats and vulnerabilities
Monitor and analyze detection performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of day-to-day activities of the team, making recommendations for improvements as needed
Work closely with IT, security operations, and other teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures into overall IT practices, incident response, and risk management frameworks
Maintain comprehensive documentation of security policies, procedures, and incidents, providing regular reports to senior management on security posture and initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Proven experience in information security administration, with a strong understanding of relevant technologies and best practices
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in conducting risk assessments and responding to security incidents
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
Preferred
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus
