Creative Strategist Intern (Social)

Hitch is seeking a Creative Strategist Intern who can contribute to making engaging organic and paid social content. The role involves pulling insights, writing hooks and captions, and producing various social media formats to enhance engagement and drive action.

Responsibilities

Pull insights from real places: reviews, comments, Reddit, competitor ads, support tickets, customer calls (when we have them)
Write hooks (first 1–3 seconds), captions, on-screen text, and CTAs
Help build repeatable series (formats we can run weekly, not one-off 'big ideas')
Turn one angle into many executions (organic posts + paid variants)
Write simple creator briefs for UGC (what to say, what to show, what not to do)
Sit in on creative reviews and learn how to give clean notes (not 'make it pop')
Track what happened after we posted (what held attention, what got ignored, what drove action)
In a normal week, expect to produce things like:
20–40 hooks
10–15 post concepts (with rough scripts)
3–5 ad variants from the same idea
1 creator brief with a shot list + lines

Required

You have good taste and strong opinions
You can write well
You understand social pacing (you know why some videos feel 'long' at :06)
You can take feedback without spiraling
You can be wrong quickly and improve quickly
You're online enough to know what's working, but you're not chasing trends like a desperate brand account

Preferred

You can cut rough edits in CapCut/Premiere
You've written for TikTok/IG/YouTube Shorts before
You've built a little swipe file or a habit of saving good ads
