Responsibilities

Direct Business Development: Proactively identify and secure new direct business partnerships within the behavioral and mental health sectors
Desk Management: Take full ownership of the desk, including managing P&L and understanding GP (Gross Profit) cycles
Team Collaboration: Partner with offshore recruitment teams to manage the delivery process and ensure high-quality placements
Strategic Growth: Develop and execute plans for additional headcount of US based employees and market expansion as the desk scales
Market Focus: This is strictly for the US market, focusing on contract, temp, local contract, and travel roles. Someone who isn't afraid to do the 'heavy lifting' of BD but understands the complex nuances of the healthcare market

Required

Proven experience in the Behavioral Health and Mental Health recruitment space
Ability to demonstrate a history of setting up a desk and developing premium gross margins (ideally 25-30%+)
A '360-style' or 'full-desk' mindset with a heavy emphasis on BD and a willingness to 'get on the phone' to drive direct business (not seeking an MSP focus or background)
Deep understanding of relevant industry regulations and staffing specialties such as RNs, LPNs, and Behavioral Health Techs
A self-starter capable of working in a standalone capacity while reporting directly to the Board
