Responsibilities
Manage and maintain Mac OS systems, including installation, configuration, updates, and troubleshooting
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies
Provide end-user support for Mac hardware and software issues
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot VoIP phone systems
Monitor call quality and system performance, ensuring minimal downtime
Collaborate with vendors for upgrades and issue resolution
Install, configure, and maintain network switches and related hardware
Monitor network performance and optimize for reliability and speed
Implement VLANs, QoS, and security protocols to safeguard network integrity
Assist with system backups, disaster recovery planning, and documentation
Monitor system health and proactively address potential issues
Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and initiatives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in system administration roles
Hands-on experience with Mac OS environments
Proven expertise in VoIP systems and network switch configuration
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
Familiarity with security best practices and compliance standards
Preferred
Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or similar
CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA
VoIP-related certifications (e.g., Asterisk, Cisco VoIP)
