Ideas Beyond Borders (IBB) develops and implements international programs that empower individuals with knowledge often suppressed by authoritarian regimes. They are seeking a Research Intern to support donor communications quality and donor research accuracy, working closely with the Development team to ensure outreach materials and research outputs are clear, accurate, and professional.

Responsibilities

Proofread and quality-check donor-facing communications for clarity, tone, and accuracy
Support donor and prospect research using online/public sources
Verify facts and sources; improve accuracy and reliability of research deliverables
Organize findings in Google Docs/Sheets using a clear, methodical approach
Contribute to process improvements that strengthen communications and research workflows

Required

Passion for IBB's mission
Some college (undergraduate or graduate students encouraged to apply)
Strong online research skills and excellent proofreading/editing ability
Highly organized and detail-oriented; methodical about accuracy
Comfortable with common digital tools (Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.)
Collaborative, collegial working style
