Responsibilities
Provide evidence-based therapy and interventions focused on problem-solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism, and encouragement to clients who are experiencing their first psychotic episode
Offer therapy in the office, virtually, in the community, or at client residences based on client preferences and needs as well as clinical direction
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, utilizing a team approach to treatment
Conduct and complete evaluations and assessments of clients
Ensure active client involvement in the treatment planning process, embracing their preferences
Provide individual therapy to clients and families within the CBHC framework
Establish effective working relationships with clients, ensuring client safety and fostering well being
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or other related area
Strong diagnostic skills
Competence in crisis intervention
Ability to develop short term interventions to support clients/families
Engagement strategies
Ability to quickly establish rapport with a wide range of clinical presentations
Knowledge of the vast array of community resources and how to access them
Preferred
Independent Clinical Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
