2+ years expOrienta is a leading provider of workers’ compensation and specialized healthcare coordination services. They are seeking a Mid-Level Quality Engineering (QE) Engineer to support application quality through hands-on testing, test automation, and collaboration with onshore teams.

Responsibilities
Execute manual and automated tests across web applications and APIs to validate new features and regression risk
Validate end-to-end workflows, edge cases, and error scenarios, including cross-team flows owned by QE
Clearly document test results, defects, and reproduction steps to enable fast resolution
Participate in release validation and post-release verification activities alongside Manual QA and onshore QE
Contribute to QE-owned automation suites, primarily using Playwright, covering cross-cutting workflows and shared risk areas
Support domain-level automation efforts under the guidance of Senior QEs
Use shared frameworks, utilities, and testing patterns provided by the QE platform
Assist with triaging test failures and identifying flaky or unreliable tests
Work closely with onshore QEs, Manual QA, engineers, and product partners across time zones
Ask thoughtful questions when requirements or expected behavior are unclear
Participate in standups, grooming sessions, retrospectives, and quality discussions
Provide feedback on usability issues, edge cases, and potential product risks
Strengthen automation skills and understanding of test strategy and quality ownership
Learn how responsibility is shared between product teams and QE
Apply feedback from senior team members to increase autonomy and impact
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of experience in QA, Quality Engineering, or Test Engineering roles
Hands-on experience testing web applications and APIs
Exposure to test automation, ideally using Playwright
Basic scripting or programming experience (JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Java, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to testing
Comfortable working in English in a professional, technical environment
Preferred
Experience working with distributed or US-based teams
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution
Experience testing complex, data-heavy, or multi-step workflows
Experience with desktop application testing using FlaUI or similar tools
Exposure to additional automation tools (Playwright, Cypress)
