Student: Cleanroom Lab Assistant

Responsibilities

Assist in laboratory-wide contamination control activities
Chemical and thermal vacuum laboratory tasks
Chemical analysis

Cleanroom and laboratory supply stocking and maintenance

Required

Utah State University (USU) student pursuing a degree in chemistry, physics, or a related field
Must have a minimum of one year of school remaining
Strong aptitude for laboratory work
Emphasis on safe laboratory practices
Ability to apply basic principles of chemistry and physics in real situations
Good verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated and capable of following through on assigned tasks
Ability to work 15-20 hours per week during the school year and 30-40 hours per week during the summer
Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, or other US person

Preferred

Successful completion of general chemistry lecture/lab
