Cybersecurity Architect
Delta System & Software, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to develop and maintain a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture for healthcare. The role involves overseeing IAM solutions, designing secure network architectures, and leading governance frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance and data protection.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a comprehensive healthcare cybersecurity architecture aligned with regulatory, business, and clinical requirements
Establish and maintain security reference architectures for cloud, on-prem, and hybrid healthcare environments
Integrate security-by-design principles across EHR systems (Epic, Cerner), clinical applications, and AI-driven healthcare analytics
Architect and oversee enterprise IAM solutions for clinicians, patients, and third-party partners
Implement SSO, MFA, PAM, and federated access solutions for clinical systems and cloud services
Manage identity lifecycle processes to support complex healthcare workflows and regulatory access controls
Implement Zero Trust identity models to protect PHI across distributed environments
Design secure healthcare network architectures, including hospital campus networks, remote clinics, and telehealth environments
Manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, SD-WAN, and microsegmentation to isolate clinical and administrative networks
Ensure medical device network segmentation and secure integration with hospital information systems
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to implement Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) across cloud and on-prem assets
Provide architectural guidance for SOC tools (SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR) to enhance incident detection and response
Establish healthcare-specific threat intelligence, focusing on ransomware, PHI exfiltration, and insider threats
Collaborate with SOC teams to define incident response playbooks for healthcare-specific scenarios
Support forensic investigations and compliance reporting following security incidents
Lead the implementation of healthcare security governance frameworks aligned with HIPAA, HITECH, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, and HITRUST CSF
Conduct risk assessments across EHRs, medical devices, and third-party vendors
Partner with compliance and audit teams to ensure regulatory adherence and continuous monitoring of PHI data protection
Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures tailored for healthcare operations
Architect secure AI/ML systems for healthcare applications, focusing on model integrity, data privacy, and bias mitigation
Implement controls for AI model governance, ensuring explainability, traceability, and compliance with emerging AI healthcare regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, FDA AI/ML guidance)
Collaborate with data science teams to secure AI-driven clinical decision systems, protecting against data poisoning and adversarial attacks
Lead assessments of AI data pipelines handling PHI and sensitive diagnostic data
Serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare executives, IT, and clinical leadership on cybersecurity risks and architecture
Mentor cybersecurity engineers and analysts across IAM, SOC, and cloud domains
Drive security culture and awareness initiatives across the healthcare organization
Qualification
