Responsibilities
Managing vendor related software products and solutions
Overseeing changes and projects within the procurement organization
Working on cross-functional initiatives with other technical groups
Working independently as well as efficiently with peer vendor relationship managers to eliminate duplications of effort
Motivating software developers, scrum masters, and project managers to build cooperative work teams to deliver results
Qualification
Required
Project and Vendor Management experience
Strong communication skills to provide clear status updates to senior management
Clear summarization of technical change
Ability to report details at correct level
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow an existing refined process
Ability to seek continual improvements
Proven ability to effectively collaborate with others
Ability to make decisions to initiate action
Ability to adapt to change
Ability to perform as a Project Manager when needed for vendor solution implementations
Preferred
Experience working with GEP Smart supplier and procurement products
Prior investment banking or financial services experience
