Responsibilities

Manage and implement BAS & EMS programming for HVAC and refrigeration systems across new construction, remodels, additions, acquisitions, and new initiatives

Program BAS controllers and verify system functionality during start-up

Track project timelines and deliverables; communicate progress to stakeholders

Provide commissioning support for store projects, ensuring systems meet design and operational standards

Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to meet project timelines and deliverables

Develop and maintain Points Lists, commissioning documentation, and project records

Identify and assist in resolving programming and BAS issues during commissioning/start-up

Provide support and assist in training coworkers and vendors on BAS & EMS programs and commissioning processes

Support HVAC, refrigeration, and controls as required

Qualification

Required

1+ years of experience in BAS/EMS, Operation Support, Store Engineering, HVAC-R, Information Technology, or a related technical role

Familiarity with BAS and EMS Systems such as Copeland Ultrasite, Copeland E2/E3, Copeland Connect Plus, or Trane Synchrony

Basic understanding of HVAC systems, refrigeration systems, and building construction practices; ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and wiring diagrams

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to manage tasks and meet deadlines

Ability to troubleshoot basic programming or start-up issues and willingness to learn advanced BAS programming

Willingness to travel and work outside normal business hours as needed

Preferred

Associates degree in HVAC-R, Electromechanical Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field

Familiarity with Service Now, ServiceChannel, and Maximo
