They are seeking a Bookkeeper responsible for managing all accounting functions, including preparing financial statements, managing accounts, and ensuring proper financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
Process and coordinate payroll with accounting firm and payroll service provider (ADP)
Complete month-end and year-end closeouts
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations
Prepare sales tax, business tax, and/or other required filings
Work with CPA firm to provide documentation and support for tax returns and audits
Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes
Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets

Required

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper - minimum 3-5 years
Proficient with accounting software (Quickbooks) and Microsoft office (Excel, word, etc.)
Must be able to navigate and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Detail oriented, organized, and innate ability to problem solve
