Novia Infotech is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Writer to join their team in Austin, TX. This role involves collaborating with software engineers, product managers, and UX designers to create clear and high-quality technical documentation for internal developer audiences.

Responsibilities

Design, organize, and write technical documentation for internal developer audiences, including: User manuals, Developer onboarding guides, System and platform architecture overviews, How-to guides and FAQs, Release notes, Configuration and setup guides

Define documentation requirements in collaboration with engineering and product teams

Work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Developers, and QA to gather source material

Translate complex technical workflows into clear, consumable documentation

Ensure documentation aligns with product development timelines

Build documentation tailored to multiple audiences: Developers, Internal platform teams, Business and operations users

Develop and maintain documentation templates and style guides

Drive content strategies that improve onboarding efficiency and user enablement

Review and update documentation based on product changes and user feedback

Maintain high standards for accuracy, consistency, and usability

Ensure documentation remains current, searchable, and easy to navigate

Leverage AI-based tools where applicable to improve content quality and velocity
