Client Support Specialist - Healthcare/Finance

The Client Support Specialist plays a key role in ensuring accurate account balances for hospital clients by troubleshooting account issues, reconciling financial data, analyzing reports, and responding to client inquiries.

Responsibilities

Serve as direct support to hospital clients, addressing inquiries and resolving account-related issues
Document and resolve discrepancies related to balance reconciliations, record changes, cardholder inquiries, and overpayments
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with client partners
Generate weekly reconciliation reports and research flagged items
Audit raw data files against internal operational reports; identify and communicate data integrity issues to IT
Develop and build reports, performing data analysis as needed
Lead phone conferences with clients to discuss discrepancies, provide updates, and manage follow-up tasks
Support special projects and other operational or administrative tasks as required

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
2+ years in customer support, billing, or banking (healthcare or financial services preferred)
Strong computer and software proficiency, including MS Office and Excel
Experience with reporting, basic financial analysis, and account reconciliation
Excellent documentation, organizational, and time‑management abilities
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
High attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred

Experience working with databases and/or raw data analysis
Comfort navigating multiple systems simultaneously
Ability to handle complex accounts and high‑volume workflows
