Responsibilities
Develop dynamic system models and control algorithms using MATLAB/Simulink for machine autonomy and integration
Create and execute simulation environments for validating control strategies before deployment
Plan and perform hands-on testing of control systems on autonomous machines to ensure reliability and compliance with performance requirements
Collaborate with software developers and hardware engineers to integrate control algorithms into embedded systems, including AUTOSAR-based architectures
Analyze machine and simulation data to troubleshoot issues, optimize control performance, and improve system robustness
Prepare detailed test plans, validation reports, and maintain compliance with engineering and AUTOSAR software standards
Drive enhancements in calibration, simulation workflows, and machine learning pipelines supporting autonomy development
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for control system design and simulation
Strong understanding of control theory, dynamic systems, and model-based development
Experience with AUTOSAR (Classic or Adaptive) for embedded software architecture and component integration
Experience with embedded systems and real-time implementation of control algorithms
Ability to troubleshoot complex system interactions involving hardware and software
Excellent communication skills for technical updates and cross-functional collaboration
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience in control systems development, preferably with MATLAB/Simulink
Preferred
Familiarity with autonomy technologies (Planning, Perception, Positioning)
Experience in machine autonomy or heavy equipment systems is highly desirable
