Responsibilities
Manage and maintain assigned customer accounts
Review, verify, and accurately process purchase orders received via telephone, email, or electronic systems
Monitor open order reports and coordinate order expediting as necessary
Prepare repeat quotations and assemble Request for Quotation (RFQ) documentation
Submit, track, and manage quotations through customer online portals
Distribute completed quotations to customers and internal sales teams
Develop and maintain working knowledge of company products and material offerings
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely, professional manner
Maintain accurate records and documentation in company systems
Other duties may be assigned as business needs require
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related role
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer skills; experience with ERP systems (Epicor preferred)
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Experience accessing and updating customer portals
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Experience with government bids, proposals, or contract administration is a plus
