Senior Digital Project Manager
JBi Digital is an award-winning UK digital transformation agency seeking an experienced Senior Digital Project Manager to lead large and complex digital transformation projects for UK-based clients. Responsibilities
Project Leadership: Defining scope, requirements, team structures, and ensuring delivery on time, budget, and quality for complex customer experience and engineering solutions
Delivery Control: Develop and maintain detailed scoping documents, project plans, resource schedules, budgets and budget reconciliations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and at the agreed scope
Delivery Management: Lead and manage large-scale digital transformation projects from inception to completion, co-ordinating UX, UI, Strategy, technical teams and sometimes 3rd parties/vendors, to ensure flawless execution and delivery of robust and scalable digital solutions
Change Control: Manage changes to the project scope, through change, project schedule, and project costs
Stakeholder Management: Acting as the primary interface both internal teams and with clients, facilitating project delivery related discussions, resolving conflicts, and updating senior stakeholders
Cloud Hosting: Have exposure to cloud computing and understand its role in digital transformation
Risk & Financial Management: Proactively identifying, mitigating risks/issues, managing project finances for profitability, and reporting status to the PMO
Team Guidance: Guiding cross-discipline teams, removing obstacles, providing feedback, and ensuring teams are productive and focused
Have working exposure to cloud computing and understand its role in digital transformation initiatives
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the delivery of robust and scalable digital solutions
Translate client briefs into delivery requirements to enable strong delivery estimations and scope definition in collaboration with the various discipline leads
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 4 to 5 years of proven, hands-on experience managing large and complex web digital transformation projects
A proven track record of successfully working alongside UK-based digital agencies or managing projects for UK client companies
Demonstrable experience with budget management and budget reconciliation, including managing project budgets exceeding £500K
Exposure to cloud computing technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making
Excellent verbal and written communication skills - capable of translating complex technical issues into clear client communications
Deep understanding of digital transformation, including SEO, UX, accessibility (WCAG), and security best practices
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project)
Must be able to consistently align working hours with the UK business day (GMT/BST)
Preferred
Experience working in a digital agency is a plus but not essential
