Manager, Facilities Maintenance

Walmart Inc. is seeking a Manager, Facilities Maintenance – Electrical to oversee electrical maintenance activities across their facilities. The role involves reviewing vendor proposals, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and driving timely solutions for electrical issues in stores, clubs, and distribution centers.

Responsibilities

Assess electrical repair and upgrade proposals for technical accuracy, code compliance, and value; recommend approval or revisions
Coordinate diagnosis and corrective actions for electrical problems involving panels, switchgear, feeders, lighting, and EV chargers; manage permits and inspections
Provide guidance on solution design and safety requirements; monitor performance and documentation
Enforce Walmart’s electrical safety standards and applicable NEC, NFPA 70E, and OSHA regulations
Support reliability programs and preventive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime
Maintain accurate records, including one‑lines, test reports, and close‑out packages
Work with operations, safety, and utility partners to minimize business disruption during projects

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Business, Management, or related field and 4 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, engineering, or related field OR 6 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, engineering, or related field
Master/Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience
Familiarity with CMMS systems and multi‑site maintenance programs
Experience with EV infrastructure, generators, and power quality testing
