Associated Food Stores is looking for a Pricing Specialist to provide administrative support for retail pricing and analysis. The role involves preparing deal sheets, conducting competitive analyses, and maintaining data integrity while fostering strong relationships with vendors and retail teams.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative pricing support to retail teams
Convey important pricing information through various communication channels, including phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
Respond to inquiries from team members and leaders regarding pricing, providing guidance and support as needed
Advise retailers on pricing issues, gross margins, and available pricing options
Assist in defining and refining the pricing structure for retail stores
Research, develop, and maintain pricing zones to optimize pricing strategies
Develop and communicate educational resources, presentations, and materials for the management team and retail stores
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Required

A high school diploma or equivalent is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other related software
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in all situations
Strong creative problem-solving and organizational abilities, with a keen attention to detail
Demonstrable math and analytical skills are essential
Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks efficiently
Regular on-site attendance is required
Use of a personal vehicle may be necessary for travel

Preferred

A college degree is preferred
Grocery retail environment experience or equivalent data analytics preferred
A broad knowledge of DSD products and processes is advantageous
