Responsibilities

Responsible for all production crew onboarding for both payroll and 1099 contractors
Payrolled crew: Onboarding to payroll system, Initiate onboarding, Background checks and I-9s
Freelancer Crew: Onboard to D365 financial system and Work Comp COIs
Updates & sends crew contract & PO documents (payroll & contractor for both US and UK)
Codes US Freelancer invoices for AP processing in D365
Responds to and resolves any inquiries regarding payroll payments, contractor invoice payments, payment of per diems, payment of expense reports
Reviews computation of Lasso time keeping for accuracy prior to processing payroll upload for PEO to Vensure and program crew to VIP
Responsible for the accurate preparation and submission of payroll for production crew
Responds to inquiries and requests for information relating to Crew Pay Inc, working closely with the Corporate Legal team to ensure the company is registered appropriately
Assists in workers compensation audits
Ensures payroll issues are escalated and resolved promptly
Other duties as assigned

Required

Associates degree in either accounting or business administration and/or 3+ years of experience in lieu
Minimum of two years of payroll or related experience
Experience in the entertainment industry with exposure to time-keeping and payment of production crew a plus
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
Excellent communication skills
Ability to solve complicated problems
Thoroughness and attention to detail
Well-developed organizational skills
Demonstrate ability to work well with clients (internal and external)
Adapt to change easily
Ability to work independently and within a team
