Program Assistant - Population Health Team
Wake County’s Population Health team is seeking a Program Assistant to support their efforts in eliminating health disparities within the community. The role involves administrative responsibilities, managing programmatic records, coordinating meetings, and ensuring effective communication among stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Supporting day to day administrative responsibilities associated with the division identified by project leads
Maintaining programmatic records/files
Coordinating meeting/event logistics
Delivering email communication to internal and external project stakeholders
Recording meeting notes and minutes
Managing purchasing for Population Health needs by sourcing approved vendors, submitting purchase requests, coordinating with Finance, tracking orders, and ensuring all purchases align with county procurement guidelines and budget requirements
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree
One year of job-related experience
Equivalent education and experience are accepted

Ability to work comfortably with multiple stakeholders
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written communication
Preferred
Associate Degree or equivalent
2 years of related work experience for state/federal grant initiatives
Basic knowledge in use of Microsoft Office
