They are seeking a Member Service Representative I to provide exceptional service at the Downtown Shelton Branch, assisting members with their financial needs and promoting credit union products.
Financial Services
Responsibilities
Provide professional, efficient, and accurate teller services, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cashier's checks, and cash advances
Balance your cash drawer daily and resolve discrepancies promptly and accurately
Assist members with account questions, changes, and updates
Promote and explain OURCU products and services that fit members' needs- always with a member-first approach
Maintain the confidentiality, security, and professionalism expected in a financial environment
Collaborate with your teammates to keep operations smooth, secure, and efficient
Support a welcoming branch environment where members feel recognized and valued
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
6 months--2 years of experience in customer or member service (cash handling experience preferred)
Excellent communication, math, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Word and Excel, and standard office equipment
Professional appearance, attitude, and conduct
Preferred
Bilingual skills a plus!
