Responsibilities
Apply common design patterns and best practices, drive coding standards, lead code reviews, and ensure engineering excellence across multiple projects
Identify critical capabilities, gaps, and architectural roadblocks, communicating them clearly while offering alternative approaches
Use insights from POCs to help shape production‑ready solutions
Drive architectural and systems design for mobile applications across both iOS and Android
Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, and goals
Design end‑to‑end architectures that are scalable, reliable, and efficient, considering data integration, deployment, monitoring, and more
Select appropriate technologies, frameworks, platforms, and tools based on project requirements
Create detailed architectural blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation
Lead and mentor technical teams throughout the development lifecycle, providing guidance on best practices and implementation strategies
Ensure solutions adhere to industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements (e.g., data privacy, security)
Conduct technical reviews and evaluations to ensure alignment with architectural principles and performance goals
Drive innovation and continuous improvement by staying current with emerging technologies and trends
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
3–4+ years in an architect or similar role with a strong focus on React Native
Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React fundamentals
Extensive experience deploying native applications and working with CI/CD tooling such as CodePush, AppCenter, TestFlight, and app store workflows for iOS and Android
Strong understanding of state management solutions (Redux, MobX, etc.)
In‑depth experience with Expo SDK and EAS or equivalent tooling
Experience building high‑fidelity, themeable UIs using modern styling systems (Nativewind, Tamagui, etc.)
Experience with mobile testing frameworks (Jest, Detox), native module development, performance profiling, push notifications (Airship), and deep linking
Comfortable working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Strong grounding in software development best practices, version control (Git), and Agile methodologies
Ability to leverage modern development tools, including AI‑powered coding assistants like GitHub Copilot
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with non‑technical stakeholders
Strong problem‑solving abilities and strategic thinking
Appreciation for design and user experience as core components of successful solutions
Preferred
Experience with mobile payment integrations (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe) and in‑app purchases is highly desired
