Responsibilities
Build automation infrastructure, automated tests, and tools to enhance quality assurance processes
Undertake special projects for the Sensing and Connectivity groups at Apple
Develop data crowdsourcing systems to prototype apps & features for future OS releases
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
5+ years of solid understanding of GNSS / Cellular / WiFi / Bluetooth / NFC and related Connectivity / RF technologies
5+ years in coding with Python code or related programming experience
Deep understanding of QA methodologies and automation strategy
Preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to thrive in a reciprocal environment
Excellent knowledge of chipset validation lifecycle, testing methodologies, and testing tools
Knowledge of GNSS / Cellular location simulations required for functional & performance validation
Experience in debugging GNSS logs to triage and root-cause issues, with development of custom analysis scripts considered a plus
Ability to drive cross-functional communications and understanding dependencies while also ensuring a tight timeline can be maintained
Experience in design and development of automated test harnesses & data analysis tooling
Prior experience of working in fast-paced, agile environment, with flexibility to pivot easily to support new user requirements
Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and novel genAI techniques that can be leveraged for automation and analysis
