Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
Provide leadership and guidance on CSDM, CMDB, Asset Management, Discovery, Service Mapping, and APM
Design and improve automated processes for collecting and maintaining CMDB data
Develop and document CMDB processes, standards, and best practices
Partner with Service Desk, Infrastructure, and Application teams to resolve CMDB-related issues
Monitor data quality, compliance, and KPIs; produce regular CMDB reports
Support audits and compliance efforts (SOX, COBIT, PCI, etc.)
Remediate CMDB issues such as duplicate, incomplete, or malformed CIs
Review and approve CMDB-related changes and integrations
Act as the CMDB subject matter expert and mentor across IT
Provide CMDB and ITIL training to IT staff as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
3+ years of experience in IT Service Management with a strong focus on CMDB
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB and CSDM
Solid understanding of ITIL processes and best practices
Experience working in Agile and/or DevOps environments
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred
ITIL Foundation certification
