1+ years expCHEManager International is seeking a Research Assistant to participate collaboratively in various research projects and perform investigative research in specific areas of study. The role involves performing research and development work under guidance, adhering to experimental protocols, and providing guidance in research techniques to other lab personnel.
Responsibilities
Performs research and/or development work under the guidance of an investigator, associate investigator or assistant investigator
Follows and adheres to experimental protocols in a proficient and meticulous manner
Provides guidance in research techniques to other lab personnel
Performs a variety of tasks, including but not limited to, completing correspondence, database maintenance, maintaining records, charts, etc
Responsible for the collection of data and may assist with analysis
Participates in laboratory meetings and journal clubs as appropriate
Learns new experimental procedures as necessary
Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
1-3 years of relevant experience, required
Ability to work part-time hours including two full days (9am-5pm) and a third day morning shift
Preferred
Knowledge of research fundamentals, highly preferred
Strong writing skills, highly preferred
Knowledge of AI tools, preferred
Some grant writing experience, preferred
Experience working within geriatrics, population health, public health, policy or not-for-profit, highly preferred
