Director of Contracts
PingWind is focused on delivering outstanding services to the federal government, and they are seeking an experienced contracts management professional to serve as their Director of Contracts. This role involves managing a team of professionals, overseeing complex contracts matters, and providing strategic advice in the federal contracting arena.

Responsibilities
Perform, manage, and provide leadership for contracts function responsibilities including but not limited to contract and subcontract issuance and negotiations
Lead and develop a high-prforming contracts team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure team members have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
Oversee and manage a portfolio of complex contracts matters to provide strategic advice and counsel on all capture, growth, contractual, and procurement-related items
Identify and mitigate contract-related risks, and develop risk management strategies to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies
Maintain ISO compliance as it pertains to the Contracts department
Provide proposal preparation assistance (RFP reviews, NDAs and TAs, representations and certifications, advising on technical risk mitigations, developing OCI mitigation plans, assessment of terms and conditions, providing oversight of model contract and intellectual property considerations, etc.)
Interface with key government contracting and procurement officials, and participate in industry associations
Perform required statistical reporting to GSA, SAM, VA and DOD
Acute awareness of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement, Uniform Commercial Code, State and Local regulations
Work with the Executive team, Program Managers and Project Managers to understand user needs, pain points, and policy/organizational drivers
Communicate contract strategies, plans, and results to stakeholders, including senior leadership, business units, and teams
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Government, or closely related field
12+ years of relevant experience with a minimum of 5 years managing federal contracting staff
Demonstrated experience leading contracts teams supporting a wide range of contract types and customers
Business acumen with ability to think critically and develop creative and practical solutions
Ability to support growth strategies in both competitive and sole source environments
Detailed knowledge of organizational conflict of interest mitigation plans, teaming agreements, and other contract artifacts
Strong writing, communications, and time management skills
Unqualified commitment to integrity and professionalism
Superior interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to employees and management at all levels
Attention to detail and organization
Highly adaptable to change; ability to work independently and collaboratively
Ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-moving environment
Preferred
Juris doctorate degree a plus
