This role involves leading projects, supporting internal teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of automation systems, from design to commissioning.

Responsibilities

Provide electrical expertise across multiple areas of the plant

Lead continuous improvement and corrective action activities

Manage major automation projects including new machine installations and upgrades

Analyze project requirements, address engineering challenges, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery

Oversee project workflow and coordinate internal and external resources

Ensure safety objectives and legal requirements are implemented for all activities

Develop and finalize electrical designs, Bills of Materials, and spare part requirements

Work with automation vendors and external contractors on installations

Create engineering drawings (Autodesk products) and perform risk assessments

Design and implement hardware, PLC/HMI programming, VFDs, servos, and control system networking

Conduct machine FAT, IO check-out, start-up, and commissioning
