Responsibilities

Write product or system development code

Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency)

Design, develop, and integrate features for Google’s software-defined WAN (SDN) to ensure high availability, global scalability, and seamless new product introductions (NPI)

Debug and resolve issues within an integrated networking ecosystem, focusing on traffic engineering, congestion management, and admission control

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree

2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms

Experience building and developing infrastructure or distributed systems

Experience optimizing software system performance

Experience in networking technologies/concepts such as software defined networking (SDN)

Knowledge of internet routing technologies and router/switch telemetry
