This role is critical for ensuring stability, scalability, and accuracy across the order processing lifecycle, and involves partnering across various functions to enhance order management capabilities.

Responsibilities

Own and enhance SAP-driven Order Management (OM) capabilities across a highly customized order ecosystem

Develop and support solutions in SAP ECC and S/4HANA, with strong emphasis on SAP ABAP development

Analyze and troubleshoot issues impacting:

Expected delivery dates

Order routing logic

Order sourcing, fulfillment, and downstream process impacts

Identify and explain changes in system outputs when upstream inputs shift (e.g., delivery commitments, routing decisions, sourcing outcomes)

Partner cross-functionally across the Order-to-Cash lifecycle, including:

Supply Chain Operations

Transportation & Logistics

Customer Experience / Service

Finance (FI), Billing, and external sales channels

Contribute to documentation and operational readiness, including:

Runbooks

System diagrams and process flows

Support procedures and knowledge-transfer artifacts

Support S/4HANA brownfield migration and modernization efforts, including cleanup aligned with clean-core principles

Provide technical leadership while balancing project work and production support

Required

5+ years of SAP development experience (senior-level capability expected)

Strong, hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP programming within enterprise environments

Proven experience supporting or enhancing Order Management / Order-to-Cash processes in SAP

Experience working in SAP ECC; S/4HANA exposure strongly preferred

Ability to discuss prior work with concrete examples (transaction codes, programs built or modified, outcomes delivered)

Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to connect technical behavior to business impact

Comfortable working in highly customized SAP environments (non-vanilla SAP)

Preferred

Experience supporting S/4HANA brownfield migrations or SAP modernization initiatives

Working knowledge of AWS services (depth is a plus)

Experience operating in large, highly integrated enterprise ecosystems with complex dependencies

Familiarity with SAP integrations to external systems (e.g., Salesforce, finance platforms, ecommerce channels)
