Responsibilities
Manage a litigation caseload from matter assignment through resolution, including trial or appeal
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery with minimal supervision
Take and defend depositions and appear in court as first or second chair
Handle real estate and business litigation matters including title disputes, HOA enforcement, commercial disputes, and landlord matters
Meet an annual billable target of approximately 1,500 hours
Collaborate closely with firm leadership and support staff
Qualification
Required
3+ years of civil litigation experience
Active Ohio Bar license in good standing with no disciplinary history
Strong legal research and writing skills
Comfort using modern legal technology and practice management tools
Preferred
Experience appearing in Ohio courts, with Cuyahoga County experience strongly preferred
